Ashley McDonough, High Springs Main Street Manager, holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in Spanish and one in International Studies, from Texas A&M University. She also hold’s a Master’s degree in Public Administration, with a focus on non-profit management, from Sam Houston State University.

Ashley’s work with the Main Street Program is facilitated by 11 Board of Directors, representing local businesses, non profit organizations, the City Commission, the University of Florida, and the High Springs Chamber of Commerce just to name a few. Numerous volunteers also dedicate their time and energy to the program each month by coordinating year-round events downtown, helping to promote and better organize support for local commerce and business in the historic downtown area, as well as educating the community about historic preservation and revitalization efforts in High Springs.
